The Best Spinner has been out for over a month now, and it’s gotten some pretty good reviews in the internet marketing community. I’ve been using it myself as my main article rewriter for the past few weeks and I think I have enough experience with it to properly evaluate it. In my The Best Spinner Review, I’m going to detail what I like and dislike about this article rewriter.
The user contributed thesaurus is the main selling point behind The Best Spinner, and overall it’s very good. When I first played around with the article spinner, I was worried about low quality entries getting added into the Thesaurus. The way that The Best Spinner handles this is to rank the synonyms by how often they are used (by all users) and it seems to do the job of weeding out the lower quality choices and displaying the best synonyms first.
When manually spinning my articles, the wide selection of synonyms choices really does save you time. Constantly trying to come up with variations is actually quite a mentally tiring task, so I’m able to be more productive. The fact that there are also many multi-word phrases in the thesaurus is another huge plus, and I’ve been impressed with many of the alternatives that it manages to come up with. This is where having a user contributed thesaurus really shines as only this kind of collaborative system would allow the software to come up with these kinds of quality choices.
For automatically spinning your articles, you can use The Best Spinner’s Replace My Favorites and Replace Everyone’s Favorites functions. Using them, you can create spin-ready articles with a click of a button. With Replace Everyone’s Favorites you can usually get 30-50% uniqueness right off the bat. In my experience with it, it’s very important that you make use of the Protected Terms and enter your main keywords in there. This prevents TBS from trying to spin them when you normally don’t want that. One enhancement I would like to see is for Undo to rollback the entire set of changes when you use the replace functions. It’s easy to do something you don’t want here, and then it’s a lot of work to get yourself back to the original state. Also, make sure that you look over your spins after you do a mass replacement. There are times, when a few of the choices it makes aren’t the greatest, and you should go back and modify these.
The Best Spinner interface works pretty well. I like how you can use the Tab and Ctrl-Tab keys to navigate back and forth between each word and it makes manual spinning a lot faster. Adding synonym variations is just a matter of selecting a choice from the box, and you can just as easily deselect the choice if you change your mind later. Looks wise, The Best Spinner could use a bit more polish. The icons are pretty plain and I can never remember what many of them do from just looking at them. I’m constantly having to look at the tooltips to figure out what which button does what I want it to do.
In general though, I am quite pleased with The Best Spinner. Does it live up to the hype? I think it actually does. When using the software it really makes article spinning a whole lot easier and pleasant. While it’s not perfect, TBS is constantly being updated and you’ll often see some really cool improvements each time you launch the software. If you’re on the fence about trying the software, check out the $7 full featured trial for 7 days. That’s ample enough time to decide whether TBS is the right article rewriter for you. After that, the full price is $77 for a year’s subscription. Try it out for yourself and I think you will be impressed.
